Tom Hanks and Robin Wright to Star in New Film ‘In the Garden of Beasts’

The movie, based on the bestselling book by Erik Larson, tells the story of the Dodd family, who moved to Berlin in 1933 when William E. Dodd became the U.S. Ambassador to Germany.
Tom Hanks will play the role of William E. Dodd, while Robin Wright will portray his daughter, Martha Dodd. The film is expected to delve into the complex and tumultuous period of German history as the Dodd family navigates the rising Nazi regime.
