Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton Expecting Second Child

London, England — Marvel star Tom Hiddleston and actress Zawe Ashton are expecting their second child. Ashton, 40, confirmed the news in an interview with British Vogue, sharing the delightful updates while showcasing her baby bump at the closing of the SXSW festival.

In a striking blue gown designed by Emilia Wickstead, Zawe revealed the exciting news as she prepared for the event. “I feel like I’ll be very held on an evening where, as an expectant mother, you can feel a little bit exposed,” Ashton said to Vogue.

During the festival, the couple was seen together on the red carpet. Hiddleston, who stars in the series “Loki,” was dressed sharply in a grey suit and held Ashton’s hand, showcasing their support for each other.

The festival closed with the premiere of Hiddleston’s new movie, “The Life of Chuck.” The couple welcomed their first child in October 2022. While the couple has never publicly confirmed the gender or name of their first child, director Mike Flanagan revealed that they have a son.

Hiddleston and Ashton met in 2019 while starring in the play “Betrayal” in London’s West End. Although they have never confirmed their marital status, a February Vogue article referred to Zawe as Tom’s “wife.” Shortly after their red carpet debut in 2021, Hiddleston expressed his happiness about their relationship.

“It’s just changed everything. It changed the center of my life completely,” Hiddleston shared, highlighting how fatherhood has transformed his perspective. He has previously described their time working together as “an extraordinary life-changing time.”
