Tom Holland Shares Joy in Carpentry and Relationship with Zendaya

Tom Holland, the well-known British actor, has shared a glimpse into his personal life and his passion for carpentry, which he frequently employs to assist his girlfriend, Zendaya. The ‘Spider-Man‘ actor expressed his dedication to the craft during a recent interview, highlighting it as one of his favorite activities.

In a recent episode of a popular show, Holland revealed, “If something breaks in Zendaya’s house, I take huge pride in fixing it.” He elaborated on this by recounting a recent project, “She has this guest room, which wasn’t the greatest room, like it needed some love. I built her these cupboards and put a new wardrobe up for her and fitted it in so it looked like it was part of the wall. And I was very proud of myself,” said the actor.

Holland attributes his skills in carpentry to his late grandfather who taught him from an early age. “Carpentry is something I just really enjoy. I love it. I made my mum’s kitchen table, I made my mum’s office. I built all the cupboards in my bedroom. I built a little birdhouse with my granddad,” he shared, fondly recalling past projects.

Reflecting on these skills, Holland light-heartedly suggested that carpentry might be his “get-out plan” if “this whole acting thing doesn’t work out.” Additionally, he expressed a long-term goal of having a property where he could maintain a workshop and preserve the family tradition of carpentry.
