Tommy Fury Addresses Allegations in First TV Appearance Post-Split
British boxer Tommy Fury appeared on the television show “This Morning” on Thursday, addressing his recent split from ex-fiancée Molly-Mae Hague amidst swirling controversy. The couple, both aged 25, parted ways earlier this summer, with Molly-Mae stating that she did not anticipate their relationship ending the way it did.
During the show, Fury spoke about the challenges of recent months and the impending release of his memoir “Lighting Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury.” Hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard questioned Fury on allegations of infidelity, which he denied. “A lot of stuff has been put out there,” Fury commented on the rumors, adding that he included a final chapter in his book detailing his emotions and experiences during this time to keep readers informed.
Fury emphasized the importance of privacy for his family, which includes their 20-month-old daughter, Bambi. “Me and Molly and Bambi are a family unit, and we’re going to tackle this in private,” he stated, expressing his continued love for Hague and his dedication to their family. Despite criticism, Fury reiterated his commitment to handling their personal matters privately.
The boxer, known for his participation in the reality show “Love Island,” alongside Hague, also mentioned his focus on his boxing career and new literary endeavor. Over the weekend, in his first interview since their split, he told The Mail, “I absolutely did not cheat on her,” responding to rumors of an alleged affair with a Danish woman while on holiday in North Macedonia.
Meanwhile, Molly-Mae is refocusing her efforts on her career, launching a clothing line named “Maebe,” after a three-year development period delayed by the birth of their daughter in January 2023. Molly-Mae described her new project as a significant personal milestone, aligning with changes in her life post-split.
During her interview with MailOnline, Molly-Mae expressed optimism about the future, stating, “When I became a mum, I changed a lot… It was the right time to launch Maebe.” She noted the alignment of personal and professional developments as a “really good timing” for her.
