Tony Armstrong Shines At Logies With Girlfriend

Tony Armstrong, this year’s Gold Logie nominee, made a splash on the red carpet of the Logies with his girlfriend, Rona Glynn-McDonald. This event marked their first significant red carpet appearance together after going public with their relationship on Instagram late last year.

In the lead-up to the event, Tony expressed his excitement about dancing with Rona, but there was a catch—he needed to secure her a ticket. In an interview with TV Week, he made a heartfelt plea, asking for someone to help them out. Luckily, his request didn’t go unheard, and the couple walked the red carpet arm in arm, looking fabulous.

Rona dazzled in a stylish black long-sleeve gown that featured midriff cutouts and ribbed detailing. On the other hand, Tony stole the show in a black satin suit, complete with a long coat and a silver broach, designed by a Melbourne-based designer. The couple turned heads as they made their way down the red carpet.

During their brief chat with ELLE Australia, the duo shared their thoughts on being dubbed “Australia’s Hottest Couple,” a title they recently graced the cover of Stellar magazine with. Tony noted how special it was to represent as a Black couple in a major publication.

For those curious about Rona, she is not only a talented musician but also the CEO of a not-for-profit organization called Common Ground. Tony, a former AFL player, has transitioned into a successful career as a TV host, showcasing his versatility and charm.
