LOS ANGELES, USA — Enthusiastic fans of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise are buzzing with anticipation as Activision prepares to make an official announcement regarding the long-awaited remaster of Tony Hawk‘s Pro Skater 3 + 4. This revelation comes after an Easter egg was discovered in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map Grind, which hints at the upcoming release.

Inside the multiplayer map, players have found a room filled with skateboards and a large screen displaying the date March 4, 2025, below a logo reminiscent of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. This discovery has fueled speculation that the announcement will affirm the next chapter in the beloved series. A countdown on the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater website aligns perfectly with the hinted release.

In 2022, Tony Hawk disclosed that plans for a remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 existed but faced delays after the development studio Vicarious Visions was integrated into Blizzard Entertainment. The latest countdown, combining the numbers three and four, suggests that Chicago-based developer Iron Galaxy has taken over the project.

Adding credibility to the rumors, pro skater Tyshawn Jones, who featured in the previous remastered collection, indicated in a radio interview earlier this year that more content was on the way for fans of the series. “Stay tuned, there’s more to come,” he teased, suggesting exciting developments in Tony Hawk’s gaming universe.

In a parallel development, the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore leaked information about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on its official ratings site. Although Activision has yet to confirm the title along with specific details, such listings typically indicate that a game is in its final stages of development prior to an official announcement.

The rating did not specify an exact release date but confirmed a 2025 window, and expected availability across major platforms, including both current and last-generation consoles. Given the trajectory of the franchise, it is reasonable to project that the new title could also be featured on Xbox Game Pass, following a period of exclusivity for the first remastered title released in 2020. However, all these plans hang on the official confirmation expected tomorrow.

Fans are eagerly counting down the hours until the official reveal, fully anticipating what the developers at Activision and Iron Galaxy will unveil. As the clock ticks toward March 4, excitement builds for a resurgence of the classic skating title that is poised to bridge nostalgia and modern gameplay for both old and new players alike.
