LOS ANGELES, CaliforniaTony and Emmy-nominated actor has signed on for representation ahead of his upcoming roles in Netflix productions. Notably recognized for his work in the Paramount+ sci-fi series Halo, he is set to appear in the mystery thriller His & Hers alongside Tessa Thompson and Alan Ritchson’s action thriller Motor City, both slated for release in the coming months.

The unnamed actor, acclaimed for his performances in multiple high-profile projects, received an Emmy nomination for his recurring role in Orange Is the New Black and a Tony nomination for his Broadway debut in Clifford Odets’ Awake and Sing!. His expansive television credits also include American Gods, Defending Jacob, Candy, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Wire.

In a recent statement, the actor expressed enthusiasm for his upcoming projects, stating, ‘I’m thrilled to be part of these exciting new stories and to collaborate with such incredible talent.’ The addition of these productions to his resume solidifies his status as a prominent figure in both television and film.

His representation will include Gersh, along with Circle Management and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.

In related industry news, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, recently discussed backend deals with talent in an interview on a prominent podcast. Bajaria revealed that despite openness toward backend deals, few filmmakers seem interested. Such deals allow actors, directors, or producers to earn a percentage of profits from successful films or shows. However, the Netflix model, which often bypasses traditional theatrical releases, complicates these arrangements.

In addition, Spain’s emerging talent landscape is gaining attention at the 2025 Berlin Festival, where the country has been recognized as a cinematic powerhouse. With an influx of innovative producers and directors showcased, Spain is poised to make a lasting impact on the European film and television industry.
