Trensurb Announced Schedule of Upcoming Public Meetings and Events

PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil — The Trensurb, the urban train operator in Porto Alegre, has released its schedule for upcoming public meetings and events running from January to March 2025. These meetings are aimed at various stakeholders, including public officials, community leaders, and the general public, focusing on operational updates and strategic planning.
The schedule includes notable events such as the meeting on January 1, which involves the new Director of Administration and Finance, Ronald Kruger Sarubbi, following his appointment. On March 25, Trensurb will be launching a new banking initiative named Banco Vermelho, with key stakeholders participating, including figures from the SUDECE and the local government.
Throughout January and February, several meetings, including the DIREX and CONSAD sessions, are aimed at discussing budget allocations and operational strategies for the upcoming year. These meetings are expected to address significant issues facing the transit authority, including resource allocation and budgeting for future expansions.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement in all aspects of our operations,” said Sarubbi during a press conference regarding the planned public consultations.
In addition, the Trensurb has scheduled several key meetings focused on operational enhancements and community engagement. The Grupo Gestor sessions will focus on overseeing the implementation of planned projects, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed about necessary operational decisions and progress updates, according to internal sources from the company.

The series of events will take place at the company’s headquarters, located at Av. Ernesto Neugebauer, offering accessibility to various participants.
