Tribeca Festival Announces 2025 Jury Lineup and Special Honors

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The Tribeca Festival has announced its jury for 2025, which will select this year’s top projects across film, games, and audio storytelling categories. The festival is set to take place from June 4 to 15 in New York City.
This year’s diverse jury includes notable figures such as Jennifer Beals, Ilana Glazer, Art Linson, Kyle MacLachlan, and Mira Sorvino. The jury will award honors in 15 competitive categories, highlighting the best in contemporary storytelling.
Tribeca’s Nora Ephron Award will this year honor an outstanding female filmmaker who embodies the spirit and vision of the late filmmaker and writer Nora Ephron. “We’re proud to welcome an eclectic group of jurors to this year’s Tribeca Festival,” said Nancy Lefkowitz, EVP at Tribeca Enterprises. “Their breadth of expertise across genres will be instrumental in recognizing standout storytellers and honoring bold new voices from around the world.”
The festival will also host the 2025 American Black Film Festival, taking place in Miami Beach from June 11 to 15. Noteworthy participants include Gabrielle Union and KiKi Layne, who will lead discussions and panels with industry leaders. Union is scheduled to host a panel titled “Sisterhood & Savings,” while Underwood will discuss “The Longevity Playbook.”
This year’s festival will feature exclusive content from Netflix, including a first look at “The Old Guard 2,” set to premiere on July 2. The festival aims to be a platform for diverse voices and stories in film and media.
Winners in various categories will be announced during the Tribeca Festival ceremony on June 12, showcasing the creative achievements of filmmakers from around the globe.
