NEW YORK CITY, April 17, 2025—The 2025 Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, has announced a star-studded lineup for its television section, featuring the highly anticipated premiere of Season 3 of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” and numerous other notable series. The festival is set to take place from June 4 to 15 in New York City, showcasing a diversity of original independent episodic content.

Among the highlights, festival attendees can expect the world premiere of HBO‘s “The Gilded Age” Season 3, as well as the season finale of “Godfather of Harlem” and Apple TV+’s new drama “Smoke.” Season 3 of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” promises to deliver thrilling adventures with an engaging plotline, bringing beloved characters to new heights.

“Television is one of the most powerful storytelling mediums of our time, and Tribeca is proud to be a home for the visionaries who are redefining it,” said Cara Cusumano, Tribeca Festival Director and SVP of Programming. “Our commitment to championing exceptional stories in all forms remains steadfast as the lines between film and television blur.”

The festival’s NOW section focuses on new independently created pilots and series, featuring titles such as “Seasoned,” starring Mandy Patinkin, and “Hal & Harper,” featuring Lili Reinhart and Cooper Raiff.

Liza Domnitz, Senior Programmer of Tribeca Festival, emphasized the abundance of choices for TV lovers today, expressing excitement about curating a selection of outstanding new series and returning favorites. “We aim to provide our audience with a truly exclusive experience, including post-screening discussions,” she added.

Other notable premieres include the four-part documentary series “The Furry Detectives: Unmasking a Monster,” which investigates a disturbing conspiracy within the furry community, and “Outrageous,” a drama depicting the scandalous lives of the Mitford sisters during the 1930s.

Following screenings of shows like “Smoke,” starring Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett, audiences can participate in discussions with cast members and creators, enhancing the festival experience.

Furthermore, a conversation with Lena Dunham is anticipated, where she will preview her upcoming Netflix series “Too Much.” The series delves into her personal journey and experiences transitioning from New York City to London.
