Trista Sutter Special Forces World's Toughest Test

Trista Sutter, the original star of ‘The Bachelorette,’ recently opened up about her intense experience on the upcoming season of FOX‘s ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.’ The reality show, which premieres Jan. 8, puts celebrities through grueling military-style challenges, and Sutter admits it was far from a walk in the park.

In an interview on ‘TMZ Live,’ Sutter described the show as ‘humbling’ and revealed that many of her friends and family mistakenly assumed she had ‘fun’ during filming. ‘That’s not the adjective I would use,’ she said, emphasizing the physical and mental toll of the challenges. The only enjoyable aspect, she noted, was bonding with her fellow contestants.

Sutter’s husband, Ryan Sutter, a former NFL player and firefighter, was a key source of motivation for her. ‘He dreamed of being in the military,’ she explained, adding that she wanted to make him proud. Ryan had previously sparked concern among fans when he posted about Trista being ‘missing’ during filming, but she clarified that his comments were taken out of context and that he was fully supportive of her decision to participate.

The show, which features a mix of celebrities and athletes, is designed to test participants’ limits through extreme physical and mental challenges. Sutter’s experience highlights the show’s reputation for pushing contestants to their breaking point, with tasks ranging from navigating rugged terrain to enduring freezing ocean drills.

Other participants, such as former Disney stars Christy Carlson Romano and Kyla Pratt, also shared their thoughts on the show. Both credited their early careers as child actors for helping them navigate the challenges. ‘We’re way more resilient than people realize,’ Romano told Fox News Digital. Pratt added that their ability to read the room and connect with others gave them an edge.

Carey Hart, a professional motocross rider and husband to singer Pink, also joined the cast. Hart, who has faced numerous injuries throughout his career, saw the show as an opportunity to push himself physically. ‘This was a great experience for me to get back into a situation where I can just lay it on the line,’ he said.

Stephen Baldwin, another contestant, leaned on his faith to get through the challenges. ‘All things are possible when you have a strong enough faith,’ he said, calling his belief system a ‘tremendous asset’ during the show.

‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’ promises to deliver high-stakes drama and intense challenges as celebrities and athletes push themselves to the limit. The show premieres Jan. 8 on FOX.
