Two Students from Jamshedpur Women’s University Excel in National Eligibility Test

Two students from Jamshedpur Women’s University have achieved remarkable success in the National Eligibility Test (NET) examination, bringing honor to their institution. Nidhi Kumari, a Post Graduate student from the English Department (Session 2021 – 2023), and Payal Kumari, the topper of Post Graduate in the Geography Department (Session 2020 – 2022), demonstrated their academic excellence in the examination.

The NET examination, held in December 2023, is a crucial milestone for individuals aspiring to become Assistant Professors. Nidhi Kumari and Payal Kumari showcased their dedication and academic prowess by excelling in their respective subjects, all under the guidance of their Assistant Professors.

The biannual NET exam serves as a gateway for Assistant Professor candidates. Moreover, female students who qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – National Fellowship Test (NFT) receive scholarships to pursue Ph.D. studies in fields related to their subjects.
