Tyler Perry’s New Series ‘Divorced Sistas’ to Premiere June 9 on BET

ATLANTA, Ga. — BET+ announced today that it has officially greenlit Tyler Perry‘s new original series, ‘Divorced Sistas‘. The show is set to premiere on June 9, the same evening as the 2025 BET Awards.

This series expands the popular ‘Sistas’ universe and highlights the experiences of Black women with depth and humor. Tyler Perry, who created, wrote, and directed the series, expressed his hopes that audiences will find connection and personal truths through the stories told in ‘Divorced Sistas’.

‘Divorced Sistas’ follows five close friends—Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette—as they face the complexities of divorce, relationships, and self-discovery. Despite their bonds, the characters must confront challenges that test their loyalty and sisterhood.

The ensemble cast features notable actors, including LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, and Jennifer Sears. Supporting roles are played by DeVon Franklin, Donovan Christie Jr., and Robert Christopher Riley.

The series will debut on BET and stream exclusively on BET+ starting June 10.
