Unexpected Run-In: Talk Show Host Meets Husband’s Ex at Drive-Thru

NEW YORK, March 11, 2025 — Talk show hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos shared a comedic and unexpected moment regarding past romantic relationships during a recent episode of their show. Kelly, 54, reminisced about a chance encounter with one of Mark’s ex-girlfriends at a Florida drive-thru, eliciting laughter from the audience.

While discussing how people may sometimes be less than truthful with their doctors about alcohol consumption, Kelly recalled the moment vividly. “When you roll up to the drive-thru in Florida and the woman handing you your lunch says, ‘I used to date your husband,’ you don’t need to know anything else,” she quipped.

The couple was in Wildwood, New Jersey, attending a wrestling tournament for their son, Joaquin, when Kelly unexpectedly came face to face with Mark’s former flame. “He’s like, ‘Oh, we’re in your neck of the woods. I wonder how many of your ex-boyfriends are going to be there?'” Kelly recounted Mark’s lighthearted banter.
