How to Unlock The Duchess in Elden Ring: Nightreign

LOS ANGELES, CA — Players of “Elden Ring: Nightreign” can unlock a hidden character known as The Duchess through a specific in-game method. To do this, players must first complete a quest that rewards them with the Old Pocketwatch.
The Old Pocketwatch is an essential relic obtained after defeating Gladius, Beast of Night, during the Tricephalos Expedition, the first available mission. Players who defeat Gladius will automatically receive the Old Pocketwatch as part of their rewards. If the boss is too difficult, players can also receive the relic as a random drop when they fail the expedition.
Once in possession of the Old Pocketwatch, players should make their way to Roundtable Hold and find the robed Priestess by the central expedition table. Upon speaking to her, players should choose the option “Show her the old pocketwatch.” This action triggers a cinematic where the Priestess reveals her true identity as The Duchess, thereby making her a playable character.
The Duchess possesses unique attributes; she is a dexterity and intelligence character. Her skills include a passive ability that enhances her dodging capabilities and an active ability, Restage, which allows her to replay damage dealt to enemies. Additionally, her ultimate ability enables her team to become temporarily invisible, making it easier to sneak past tougher foes.
Unlocking The Duchess adds a significant advantage to any team composition in “Elden Ring: Nightreign,” particularly because of her high damage output and survivability. After completing the necessary steps, players will have the option to choose The Duchess in future expeditions.
With her blend of speed and powerful skills, The Duchess is set to become a favorite for those seeking a dynamic playstyle in the game.
