Uta Cocktail Party New York Met Gala

New York, New York – On Sunday night, excitement filled the air as the pre-Met Gala activities kicked off. UTA, a notable talent agency, hosted its annual Sunday Soirée cocktail party at Nubeluz, located at The Ritz-Carlton New York. The celebration began at 7 p.m., setting the tone for the upcoming Met Gala on Monday.

Joshua Andrés, the renowned chef and restaurateur, returned to host the gathering for the second consecutive year. Guests mingled in a lively atmosphere, enjoying Blue cocktails in hand as they took in the stunning views of the midtown skyline through the venue’s floor-to-ceiling windows.

Among the attendees were various stars, including actor Regé-Jean Page, who was seen chatting amicably near the bar. Party co-hosts Rashid Johnson and his wife Sheree Hovsepian enjoyed the evening from a cozy booth. Cynthia Erivo, designer Grace Wales Bonner, and Chance the Rapper, sporting his signature bucket hat, were also spotted making the rounds.

The cocktail party saw an eclectic mix of notable figures, including Monica Barbaro, Myha’la, Bloody Osiris, Ella Emhoff, and Aurora James. Grace Wales Bonner, who co-hosted the event alongside Johnson and Tyler Mitchell, had hosted another event at the Guggenheim the previous night.

As guests departed, UTA provided a sweet parting gift: a candy bar featuring cookies emblazoned with the Met museum’s logo, ensuring that attendees remembered the evening’s celebration.
