Vanna White Helps Ryan Seacrest Find Love Amid Busy Schedule

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Vanna White is reportedly seeking a suitable girlfriend for her Wheel of Fortune co-host Ryan Seacrest as he juggles several high-profile roles in entertainment. According to a source, the friendship has blossomed since Seacrest joined the iconic game show in September 2024, following Pat Sajak‘s retirement.

“She finds it very hard to believe that he’s single still. He’s handsome, he’s sweet and thoughtful, not to mention totally loaded,” the insider told Closer Weekly. “It boggles her mind that he can’t seem to meet someone he wants to be with. She’s convinced that Ryan is getting in his own way by picking women that aren’t right for him.”

With his 50th birthday just passed in December 2024, Seacrest is balancing not only his duties on Wheel of Fortune but also as a host on American Idol and a radio show. The insider noted that his demanding schedule limits his opportunities to meet new people. “Ryan works so much these days that he hardly has time to get out and meet people, and he says he’s not a fan of the online thing, so he actually does need some help,” the source added.

Seacrest appears willing to consider White’s matchmaking efforts, as long as he has a say in the process. “He adores Vanna and doesn’t think she’d steer him wrong, so he’s agreed to go along with this, as long as she shows him some pictures first; he’s not going to blindly agree to a date,” the insider revealed.

Seacrest’s last notable relationship was with model Aubrey Paige Petcosky, which ended in April 2024 after a brief period together. While they kept much of their relationship private, Petcosky did attend Seacrest’s final episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan in April 2023.

During an interview in December 2021, Seacrest expressed a desire to eventually start a family. “I want to have kids. But I haven’t even gone down that path, which is nuts at my age. I think in the last year, it’s become clear to me that yes, I do want to do that … I want to be available and present,” Seacrest shared. His mother, Connie Seacrest, reportedly has been skeptical about her son’s prospects of becoming a father.

As he contemplates his future, Seacrest has looked back on his changing feelings about fatherhood. “If you asked me when I was 40 a few years ago, ‘Do you want kids?’ [I’d say], ‘I don’t know’ — and now, all of a sudden, all I can think about is, ‘Wow, how do I do that? I’m getting older. What are the options?’” he said during a prior radio show discussion.
