LOS ANGELES, CA — On March 20, Vanna White shared fascinating details about her extensive wardrobe during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show.” White, a longstanding co-host of Wheel of Fortune, revealed that she has worn an astonishing 8,000 gowns since the show’s inception in 1982.

While reminiscing about her four-decade career, White discussed her dressing routine with host Drew Barrymore. “Every day is a different dress for all of these years,” White stated. “I don’t get to keep them, but they do let me borrow them for events, like the Emmys.”

White’s son also joined the episode, recounting how his mother enjoys “full PJs days” at home, showcasing the contrast between her glamorous on-screen attire and her everyday comfort. “Because we get dressed up to work, that’s the last thing we wanna do when we’re at home,” she explained.

The impressive number of dresses comes with a rigorous filming schedule, as White noted she films six shows a day for 34 days each year. This grueling pace has kept audiences entertained for nearly 42 years.

In past interviews, White has expressed mixed feelings about her wardrobe choices. “I don’t love every outfit I wear because I feel like there’s so many millions of people watching,” she said. “I’m trying to please everybody.” Despite the challenges, she remains versatile, aiming to cater to diverse audience tastes.

Recently, White renewed her contract with Wheel of Fortune, promising fans she will continue to bring her sparkle and charm to the show. Fans have met her co-host Ryan Seacrest with similar excitement, who has acknowledged White’s generosity. “She even brought me white strips for my teeth after I mentioned coffee stains,” Seacrest remarked, highlighting her thoughtfulness.

Wheel of Fortune airs Mondays at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, and viewers can expect White to keep impressing with both her talents and her wardrobe.
