Exciting news for students! The West African Examinations Council, commonly known as WAEC, just announced that the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination will be released on August 5, 2024.

Students from all over the West African region are on the edge of their seats, waiting for their results. They will be available online and can also be accessed through specific WAEC offices, according to reports from Schoolpursuit.

This announcement brings relief to candidates who took the exams earlier this year, ending a period of nail-biting tension.

In a recent statement, WAEC shared, “WAEC has officially announced that the WAEC 2024 results will be out on Monday, August 5, 2024.”

However, there were some bumps along the way. WAEC acknowledged that certain challenges delayed the results. They apologized for the wait, assuring that an impressive 99.5% of the SSCE results are now ready and will soon be online.

Efforts were made by PUNCH Online to confirm this news with the WAEC Lagos Office, specifically with Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of Nigeria Office, but those inquiries didn’t get a response.

Meanwhile, a reliable source at the WAEC Office in Kwara State confirmed the information. When asked about the announcement, he replied, “This is true. A statement should be up on the website and social media handle any moment from now.”
