Godzilla Kong Supernova Film Teaser

BURBANK, Calif. — Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have confirmed the title and release date for the upcoming sequel to their Monsterverse series. The film, titled Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, is set to hit theaters on March 26, 2027.

The announcement came on Friday, alongside news that production for the movie has officially begun. A short teaser video was also released, showcasing an office for Monarch, the organization that tracks gigantic monsters called Titans. The video features a hotline that fans can call at (240) MON-ARCH, which corresponds to 240-666-2724.

The automated voice on the hotline thanks callers for their support in reporting Titan sightings, stating, “Your help reporting Titan sightings plays a critical role in keeping our world safe.” This adds an interactive element for fans eager to engage with the Monsterverse.

Supernova will continue the franchise’s narrative, placing both familiar and new human characters alongside iconic Titans like Godzilla and Kong as they confront a catastrophic threat. Among the returning cast members is Dan Stevens, who reprises his role as Trapper Beasley from last year’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

Joining Stevens are newcomers Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Modine, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Sam Neill. The screenplay is penned by Dave Callaham, known for his work on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

This installment marks the sixth film in the Monsterverse franchise that began with Godzilla in 2014. The series has grossed over $2.5 billion worldwide, with fans eagerly awaiting more details as production continues.

Stay tuned for updates and additional teasers ahead of the film’s March 2027 release.
