Warren Zeiders Country Music Breakup Concert

CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. (AP) — Country singer Warren Zeiders revealed on March 31 that he is single after a recent breakup, which he says was marked by infidelity.

During an exclusive interview with Taste of Country, Zeiders shared the news, adding that he experienced the heartbreak just as he released his latest album, “Relapse, Lies and Betrayal.” He mentioned the timing was particularly ironic, reflecting on the album’s themes. “God’s got a sense of humor. I literally just went through all three of those,” he said, visibly emotional.

When pressed about the circumstances, Zeiders confirmed the cause was indeed a woman. “To make it lightly, I definitely went through those three sequences,” he elaborated, using the album’s title as a reference to his emotional journey.

The singer described the relationship as tumultuous, admitting that the issues had been ongoing for some time. “The unfortunate thing is, this is something that was going on for a while, off and on, between the two of us,” Zeiders said. He further expressed his intention to keep details private, stating, “I don’t want to give it too much light, ’cause I don’t want to give her too much of a win.”

In an even more painful twist, Zeiders revealed his ex-girlfriend cheated with someone he knows. “It’s kind of like a double betrayal,” he remarked.

However, rather than letting the heartbreak deter him, Zeiders expressed a desire to channel his emotions into new music. “This hurt and heartache is fuel for me, and now I want to get back into the studio to write more songs about what I’m feeling,” he shared.

The country artist’s schedule may complicate those plans, as he recently embarked on a concert tour. He has a live performance slated for Thursday, April 3, in Milwaukee, followed by additional dates in Waukee, Iowa, and Minneapolis.

Despite the personal challenges, Zeiders remains eager to connect with fans. “Don’t try to wrong the man,” he joked, encouraging supporters to show their love at upcoming shows.

As Country Music continues to evolve, discussions around artists deserving of spots in the Country Music Hall of Fame persist. Zeiders, while relatively new to the industry, has made his mark, and the future looks promising for the rising star.
