Minnesota Wild Vs Winnipeg Jets Hockey

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA — The Minnesota Wild will finish their road trip as they take on the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Both teams are vying for important points in the tight NHL playoff race.

The Wild’s projected lineup includes star forward Kirill Kaprizov, along with Danila Yurov and Mats Zuccarello. After missing significant time due to injuries, Nico Sturm is expected to make his season debut following back surgery from a training camp injury. However, Vinnie Hinostroza will be absent due to an undisclosed injury he sustained during a recent game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In contrast, the Jets face challenges of their own. Starting goaltender Connor Hellebuyck will be sidelined for four to six weeks due to a knee procedure. His absence comes as Winnipeg aims to maintain their momentum after a two-game winning streak. Backup Eric Comrie has stepped up in Hellebuyck’s place, performing well in recent games.

Mark Scheifele, one of the Jets’ key players, missed Saturday’s practice for maintenance but is expected to play today. His presence will be crucial as the Jets look to improve their standings after dropping to the outside of the playoff picture following recent NHL games.

Both teams boast strong power plays. Minnesota ranks fifth in the league, while Winnipeg sits just behind at sixth. However, their penalty kill stats tell a different story, with Winnipeg ranked seventh overall and Minnesota down at 28th.

The game is set for a 3 PM CST puck drop, and fans can follow along for a recap after the final buzzer.
