SAN JOSE, Calif., April 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL) has released a new advertisement featuring comedian Will Ferrell, following their successful collaboration in 2024. The ad, which will premiere during the basketball playoffs, features Ferrell in a humorous rendition of Fleetwood Mac‘s classic song ‘Go Your Own Way,’ promoting PayPal’s diverse payment options.

The national debut showcases Ferrell’s comedic talent and musical interpretation, illustrating how consumers can utilize various payment methods with PayPal. Shoppers can pay using a debit card, credit card, bank account, PayPal balance, or through the Buy Now Pay Later feature. Ferrell enthusiastically displays his payment options while suggesting everything from a pack of hair curlers to plane tickets and even nacho deliveries, all the while singing, ‘you can pay your own way.’

This latest campaign illustrates PayPal’s ongoing commitment to enhancing consumer experiences at checkout. Recent improvements include biometric logins, faster page load times, and pre-qualified spending amounts for the Pay in 4 service. Additionally, the ad highlights the benefits of using the PayPal Debit Mastercard® with mobile wallets, which allows customers to earn 5% cash back on up to $1,000 spent in selected categories each month, including a newly introduced Rideshare and Public Transit category.
