Dr. Will Kirby Joins ‘Deal or No Deal Island’ Season 2

Dr. Will Kirby, a dermatologist and reality TV veteran, is set to compete in Season 2 of NBC‘s ‘Deal or No Deal Island.’ The show, which premieres on January 7, 2025, will feature Kirby alongside other seasoned competitors, including ‘Survivor’ winner Parvati Shallow and ‘Big Brother‘ alum David Genat.

Kirby, known for his strategic gameplay on ‘Big Brother,’ brings a wealth of experience to the competition. Off-screen, he is a father of two and a respected skincare expert. His participation in the show was inspired by his 11-year-old daughter, Scarlett, who suggested he join after watching the first season. ‘If it makes one 11-year-old girl laugh, then it’s all worth it,’ Kirby told NBC.

The show, hosted by Joe Manganiello, combines high-stakes decision-making with ‘Survivor’-style gameplay. Contestants must navigate physical challenges, form alliances, and outsmart rivals while facing the iconic briefcase dilemma. This season promises bigger twists, a new Banker, and over $200 million in prize money.

Kirby’s father, David Kirby, a celebrated American poet, revealed that he closely followed his son’s journey during ‘Big Brother’ Season 2. ‘They had a 24-hour live feed, and I’d minimize it up in the corner of my computer screen,’ David Kirby recalled. ‘It was very comforting.’

Kirby’s family life has also been in the spotlight. He was married to Erin Brodie, winner of the 2003 reality show ‘For Love or Money,’ from 2017 to 2022. The couple has two children, Cash and Scarlett. Kirby’s unique hobbies include caring for the world’s only bicephalic Sternotherus odoratus, a two-headed musk turtle.

‘Deal or No Deal Island’ Season 2 premieres with a special two-hour episode on January 7, 2025, at 8/7c on NBC. Subsequent episodes will air Tuesdays at 9/8c and will be available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
