Wiz Khalifa Claims Earth is Flat on Joe Budden Podcast

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — Rapper Wiz Khalifa recently declared his belief that the Earth is flat during an episode of ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’ released on April 21, 2025. Speaking with co-host Melyssa Ford, Khalifa challenged the widely accepted notion that the planet is round.
When asked if he believed the Earth was round, Khalifa responded: “I would say no. I just believe that we live on a flat plane, like a huge flat plane.” He attributed his view to the extensive traveling he has done as a touring musician. “It’s only because I’ve traveled so much,” he explained.
Khalifa elaborated on his theory by explaining his perspective on travel routes: “Because when I travel, the routes that we take and how we do it, it’s not possible to go up and down. You’re just going straight. That’s the only reason I think that.”
The rapper also expressed skepticism about space exploration, stating, “I don’t believe in space exploration at all. I don’t believe that they explore space as much as they say that they do.” This stance has drawn comparisons with other public figures who have espoused similar views, including NBA player Kyrie Irving.
Interestingly, Khalifa’s recent album cover for “Kush + Orange Juice 2,” released shortly before the podcast, features a round image of the Earth, a contradiction to his claims about its shape. Despite this, Khalifa appeared unfazed by the contradiction, as he focused more on sharing his beliefs during the podcast.
In conclusion, Khalifa’s remarks have sparked debate within the hip-hop community and beyond, with many fans questioning the implications of his statements. Discussions surrounding the podcast and Khalifa’s beliefs in a flat Earth continue to generate attention on social media.
