WWE Legend Paul Heyman to Roast WrestleMania Stars in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — WWE legend Paul Heyman will take the stage at the Roast of WrestleMania on Sunday evening, following a weekend of wrestling festivities. The event will be hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and is part of the entertainment surrounding WrestleMania 41.
The Roast of WrestleMania features a lineup of wrestling stars and comedians including Sami Zayn, The Miz, and Braun Strowman. This comedic gathering promises an evening of humor and banter following the intense wrestling matches that are set to take place during WrestleMania weekend.
Heyman, known for his sharp mic skills and compelling presence in the WWE universe, shared his thoughts ahead of the roast in an interview with Fox News Digital. He expressed uncertainty about what to expect from the evening but issued a warning to fellow comedians. “That does not bode well for Tony Hinchcliffe and his gaggle of comedians that will be up there on the stage,” he stated. “I understand that I am the master of the mic in WWE, and if someone is looking to build a reputation, I’m the guy they want to build a reputation on.”
Heyman drew parallels between the roast and the competitive spirit seen in wrestling during its peak years of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He referenced collaborations with stars like Brock Lesnar, who transitioned to massive success in both sports entertainment and mixed martial arts.
“There may be one of them that sits there and decides, let me test what Paul Heyman can do in our venue, on our stage, in our house with our audience,” he explained. “And, if and when that happens, they’re gonna learn that my mic skills are not just limited to WWE/pro wrestling/sports entertainment.”
The roast will commence at 10 p.m. PT at the BleauLive Theater, and attendees can expect a mix of comedic jabs and light-hearted banter, showcasing Heyman’s reputation as a heavyweight in the realm of entertainment.
