WWE Slashes House Shows in 2025, Focuses on TV and Premium Events
STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has announced a significant reduction in its live event schedule for 2025, marking a major shift in its touring strategy. The company will not host any house shows from now through mid-March, focusing instead on television broadcasts and premium live events as it builds toward WrestleMania.
The decision reflects a broader trend in the wrestling industry, where live events have become less central to revenue streams compared to TV deals and streaming platforms. WWE’s move aligns with its recent partnership with Netflix, which will begin streaming its flagship shows, including Raw and SmackDown, starting in 2025.
During a recent appearance on *The Night Cap*, wrestling veteran CM Punk shared his thoughts on the reduced touring schedule.
