WWE Stars Explore Indian Cuisine Ahead of WrestleMania 41

New Delhi, India – WWE superstars Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan showcased a taste of Indian culture during a recent appearance on Netflix India’s YouTube channel, where they indulged in local delicacies while engaging in a light-hearted discussion.

This promotional event took place as WWE launched its partnership with Netflix on April 1, bringing iconic wrestling moments to the streaming service for fans worldwide. Mysterio and Morgan, joined by comedians Rohan Joshi and Aaditya Kulshreshth, tried various Indian dishes, including butter chicken, chaat, garlic naan, and gulab jamun.

During the segment, Mysterio addressed an infamous storyline from his childhood, revealing that he would often be asked about his father’s identity. “I think the wildest thing I heard growing up was that Eddie Guerrero was actually my dad. Teachers would ask me if my home life was okay and if I knew who my dad was,” he recalled, referring to the storyline involving his father, Rey Mysterio, and Guerrero competing for his custody.

While tasting the butter chicken, Mysterio expressed his delight with an expletive, prompting laughter. “That is exactly the kind of honest review we want,” Joshi reassured him as the group enjoyed their meal.

Liv Morgan, the current WWE tag-team champion, took the opportunity to reflect on her wrestling career and the transformation of women’s roles in WWE. “When I started 10 years ago, we were on the verge of starting our women’s revolution,” Morgan stated. “We wanted equal treatment to men, the same segments and screen time as them, and more championships to fight for.”

As they discussed their careers, Morgan mentioned that she and her tag-team partner Raquel Rodriguez will defend their titles at the upcoming WrestleMania on April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. WrestleMania 41 marks a significant milestone, celebrating 41 years of the prestigious event.

Both Mysterio and Morgan are gearing up for the event with high expectations, as Mysterio prepares to compete for the Intercontinental Championship against three other competitors. “It’s always a big event, and we can’t wait to show our fans what we’ve got,” Mysterio said.
