Omar Minaya has been a beloved member of the Yankees organization since joining as an advisor on January 5, 2023. Before that, he served as an amateur scouting consultant for Major League Baseball in 2022 and held a number of roles with the Mets, including general manager from 2004 to 2010.
His career is highlighted not just by his professional achievements but also by his ability to connect with a diverse range of people, a trait that the Yankees have always appreciated about him.
