First responders arrived around 3:32 p.m. and found Rachel Minaya. Despite their efforts to resuscitate her, she was later pronounced dead at Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center at 4:26 p.m.

Omar Minaya, the former general manager of the New York Mets and current senior advisor for the Yankees, was not present at their home during this heartbreaking incident.
