Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Producers Terminate Actors Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe Over Unprofessional Behavior
In a surprising turn of events, the renowned TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has witnessed the termination of two actors, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, by the show’s producers. Shehzada, who portrayed the character of Armaan, was reportedly dismissed from the show due to his alleged misbehavior towards the crew, while Pratiksha’s exit was attributed to her failure to meet the expected performance standards. The Director’s Kut Production team released an official statement addressing this decision.
The statement issued by the Director’s Kut Production team highlighted the unprofessional conduct displayed by Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, who essayed the roles of Armaan and Roohi, respectively, in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
According to the statement, Shehzada continuously exhibited a lack of proper work ethics since the beginning, often throwing tantrums and mistreating the crew members. Despite attempts to address his behavior, the issues persisted, ultimately disrupting the workplace harmony. On the other hand, Pratiksha’s departure was a result of her inability to live up to the character’s expectations despite being groomed by the production house.
Previously, Rajan Shahi, the producer of the show, had spoken openly about the challenges of dealing with unprofessional behavior on set. He emphasized that no actor is above the show and expressed his firm stance against disruptive conduct that affects the production process.
Rajan Shahi emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive work environment and addressing any issues promptly to ensure the smooth functioning of the show. Additionally, he highlighted the need for mutual respect and professionalism among the cast and crew to uphold the quality of the production.
Addressing the recent terminations, the production team stated that replacements for the roles of Armaan and Roohi would be announced shortly to continue the seamless flow of the show.
