YouTube Star P2istheName’s Cause of Death Revealed

Los Angeles, CA – Philip Enewally, known as P2istheName, was found dead on March 14 at the age of 26. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed his cause of death on June 10, revealing he died from a sudden cardiac dysfunction due to solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy, classified as a natural event.
Enewally was pronounced dead at 3:11 p.m. after being discovered unresponsive in a mailroom at his apartment complex. He had been popular on YouTube for nearly a decade, amassing about 4 million subscribers with videos featuring gaming content, vlogs, and pranks.
The medical report explained that solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy is a rare condition linked to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which can lead to fatal cardiac events. Enewally’s mother confirmed his passing shortly after it was reported.
In one of his final videos titled, “I Made My Own Clothing Brand and It Actually Worked,” Enewally expressed his emotions about his entrepreneurial journey, stating, “I’m trying not to cry right now. God is amazing, bro.” He reflected on his recent plans to move from Los Angeles to Atlanta, expressing a desire to meet new people.
Following his death, tributes poured in from fellow YouTubers. COLETHEMAN shared, “My good friend @P2istheName has passed away… this breaks my heart.” Fans also expressed their grief, recalling how his videos brought joy to their lives.
Enewally was preparing to launch a clothing line and had recently discussed his aspirations of fatherhood in a video, highlighting his desire to give his future children a varied life experience.
