Zach Bryan Concert Michigan Stadium September 2025

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan Athletic Department announced today the first-ever concert at Michigan Stadium, set for September 27, 2025, featuring multi-Platinum, GRAMMY-winning artist Zach Bryan with special guest John Mayer. Also performing will be Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen, as well as Joshua Slone.

Tickets for this historic event will be available starting Friday, February 14, at 10 a.m. ET, offering fans a chance to experience music at the largest stadium in the United States, known as ‘The Big House.’

“We are excited to have award-winning artist Zach Bryan perform the very first concert at Michigan Stadium,” said Warde Manuel, the Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics at U-M. “This concert has been years in the making and involved extensive planning with our partners and stakeholders, including AEG Presents, to evaluate the feasibility of hosting a concert of this scale.”

Michigan Stadium, which opened in 1927, boasts a capacity of 107,601 and is the largest football stadium in the Western Hemisphere and the third largest in the world. Prior to this concert, the venue has hosted numerous sporting events but has never seen a headline concert.

This inaugural concert follows Zach Bryan’s recent success touring North America during his ‘Quittin’ Time Tour,’ which saw him perform in 85 venues. Looking ahead, he is also set to headline the Stagecoach Festival 2025 in Indio, California, and will perform at the BST Hyde Park Festival in London, England.

During the announcement, Manuel expressed gratitude to the Board of Regents, University President Ono, and various executive officers for their support, affirming their commitment to presenting high-caliber events at Michigan Stadium.

“This concert also marks a significant cultural moment for Michigan and our community,” Manuel added, underlining the venue’s historical significance. The Wolverines have drawn over 100,000 fans for 323 consecutive football games, and this concert may set a new record for stadium attendance at a music event.

Regarding his music, Zach Bryan has gained recognition as a transformative voice in country music, with multiple chart-topping albums and award nominations. His work includes the GRAMMY-nominated track “Something in the Orange,” which has achieved remarkable success, including 12x-Platinum certification.

As anticipation builds for this unique concert experience at such a storied venue, concertgoers are encouraged to secure tickets early when they go on sale, as demand is expected to be high.

This concert not only showcases a major artist but also highlights Michigan Stadium’s potential to evolve beyond sports into a cultural hub for music and entertainment.
