Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Marries Entrepreneur Grecia Munoz
Zomato CEO, Deepinder Goyal, has confirmed his marriage to entrepreneur, Grecia Munoz, after their intimate wedding took place over a month ago. The couple celebrated their union and returned from their romantic honeymoon in February. Goyal, a prominent figure in the food delivery industry, has previously been married to Kanchan Joshi, whom he met during his academic years at IIT-Delhi.
Munoz, a native of Mexico, is not only a former model but also a budding entrepreneur with a startup focusing on luxury consumer products. Her recent relocation to India is evident in her social media updates, where she gleefully explores the sights of Delhi, immersing herself in the rich culture and heritage of her new home.
Goyal’s journey to entrepreneurial success began in 2008 when he co-founded Zomato, initially known as Foodiebay. The platform has since evolved into a leading food delivery service present in over 1,000 cities across India, changing the dynamics of the food industry with its innovative approach.
The recent controversy surrounding Zomato’s introduction of a ‘pure veg’ fleet, distinguished by green uniforms, stirred up debates on social media platforms. Goyal promptly addressed the concerns raised, ensuring the safety and well-being of all the delivery executives in the company. The uproar subsided after Goyal announced the withdrawal of the green dress code for delivery agents.
