Coldplay Rocks Glastonbury 2024 with Star-Studded Surprise Guests

Coldplay lit up the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2024 with an unforgettable performance featuring a lineup of surprise guest stars. The British band, led by the charismatic Chris Martin, delivered a stellar set that left the crowd in awe.

Joining Coldplay on stage were an array of talented artists including Spanish-American singer-songwriter Victoria Canal, who lent her vocals to the hit song ‘Paradise’. The band also debuted a new collaboration with Little Simz and Burna Boy titled ‘And So We Pray’ from their upcoming 10th studio album, Moon Music.

The stage was further graced by the presence of Elyanna, who performed ‘Arabesque’ alongside Coldplay and Femi Kuti, and Laura Mvula, who led a soulful rendition of ‘Violet Hill’. Hollywood star Michael J Fox, known for his role in ‘Back to the Future’, joined Coldplay on guitar for two tracks, ‘Humankind’ and ‘Fix You’.

Notable celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Gillian Anderson, and Stormzy were spotted in the audience, adding to the star-studded atmosphere of the event. The festival organizer, Emily Eavis, dismissed rumors of big surprises but the performance remained a highlight of the weekend.

Glastonbury 2024 also saw other stellar acts like Disclosure, Jessie Ware, and Gossip taking to different stages, captivating audiences with their music. The festival is set to conclude with a performance by SZA on Sunday.

This year’s Glastonbury marked Coldplay’s fifth headline appearance, showcasing their enduring popularity and musical prowess.
