Following the conclusion of its highly successful second season, the anime sensation ‘Demon Slayer‘ is embarking on a new cinematic journey. Crunchyroll has announced that the anime’s next arc, the ‘Infinity Castle,’ will come to life as a trilogy of epic films. This trilogy marks the final arc in the popular series, based on the manga created by Koyoharu Gotoge and published under Shueisha‘s famed Jump Comics.

‘Demon Slayer’ has solidified its position as one of the most beloved anime, with over 150 million copies of its 23 volumes sold worldwide. Crunchyroll’s acquisition of the global distribution rights for this trilogy is significant, especially after the massive success of the 2020 film ‘Mugen Train,’ which broke numerous box office records.

The protagonist, Tanjiro, having completed his training with the Hashira, dives into the next chapter of his journey: the Infinity Castle. Here, he confronts the formidable Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King. While a teaser for the films doesn’t reveal much about the storyline, fans are eagerly anticipating this climactic showdown.

The first film in the ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle’ trilogy is currently awaiting a release date. Fans can catch up on all the ‘Demon Slayer’ episodes on Crunchyroll as they prepare for this thrilling cinematic experience.
