Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Divorce

LOS ANGELES, CA – Brad Pitt has spoken publicly about his divorce from Angelina Jolie for the first time since they finalized their settlement in December 2024. In an interview published on May 27, 2025, Pitt downplayed the significance of the legal end to their marriage, stating, “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.”

Pitt, 61, addressed questions about the divorce while promoting his upcoming racing film, which co-stars Damson Idris. The couple had been embroiled in a legal battle since Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 following allegations of abuse during a private flight with their children. Despite claims made by Jolie, no charges were filed against Pitt.

The actors, who share six children—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne—got married in 2014 after dating for nearly a decade. Jolie’s attorney, James Simon, commented on the long legal process, emphasizing that Jolie has been focused on healing and finding peace for their family. He added, “Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

As Pitt continues to navigate his public persona, he reflected on how his personal life often makes headlines. “It’s been in the news for 30 years, bro,” he noted, indicating that he has learned to cope with the challenges of being in the spotlight. He further conveyed a sense of contentment, saying his life feels “fairly contained” with friends and family.

Pitt has reportedly moved on with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, whom he started dating in 2022. Although their relationship has become serious, sources indicate that Pitt remains cautious about marriage following his tumultuous divorce from Jolie.

The film Pitt is promoting, set in the world of Formula One racing, is scheduled for release on June 27.
