Tory Lanez And Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

LOS ANGELES, California — A recent development in the Tory Lanez shooting case has sparked online debate among social media users about whether Megan Thee Stallion was shot. New bodycam footage surfaced on Wednesday, where she can allegedly be heard saying she had ‘stepped on glass’ and ‘I was not shot.’

The footage shows a police officer questioning both Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. Megan is heard expressing concerns about her public image, stating, “I really cannot go to jail. I cannot have that on my image… Glass. I didn’t get sh*t.” Lanez is seen attempting to comfort her, saying, “I was just trying to help my girlfriend. Mego don’t worry it’s gonna be okay.”

In a different video from that night, witness Sean Kelly claims to have seen a woman with a gun. Lanez was convicted in December 2022 of shooting Megan during a July 2020 incident in Hollywood Hills, where he was sentenced to 10 years for multiple felony charges.

Megan alleged that Lanez shot her in both feet following an argument after attending a pool party at Kylie Jenner‘s home. She underwent surgery to remove bullet fragments, with trial evidence confirming her injuries.

Despite the conviction, Lanez’s team has continued to assert his innocence. On May 14, 2025, representatives from Unite the People held a press conference claiming that it was Kelsey Harris, not Lanez, who fired the weapon. Walter Roberts, a consultant for Lanez, mentioned a statement from Bradley James, Harris’s ex-bodyguard, who allegedly heard her admit to firing shots.

Roberts contended that Lanez tried to intervene, causing the gun to fire accidentally. This account corresponds with Kelly’s testimony about witnessing a fight between two women before the shots rang out.

In the bodycam video, Megan seems distressed, asking police, “Ma’am, do you think we gon go to jail?… I really cannot go to jail… I cannot have that on my image… glass… I didn’t get shot, no sir…”

Megan Thee Stallion responded to these claims via TikTok on May 19, 2025, accusing Lanez of being a “demon” and asserting that he wouldn’t deny shooting her because he knows he did. As of now, neither officials nor Megan’s team have commented on the resurfaced footage and allegations.
