Influencer Emilie Kiser Mourns Son Trigg After Drowning Incident

CHANDLER, Arizona — Influencer Emilie Kiser is mourning the loss of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, who died on May 18 following an accidental drowning in the family’s backyard pool on May 12. He was found unconscious and rushed to Chandler Regional Medical Center before being transferred to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he later died.
On June 2, Kiser’s close friend, Avery Woods, returned to social media with a heartfelt tribute to Trigg. In a TikTok video, Woods shared her makeup routine, wearing a necklace engraved with Trigg’s name, capturing the attention and sympathy of fans. “Missed you girl. Your face looks stunning, glowy, and refreshed but the pain in your eyes breaks my heart,” one fan commented.
Kiser addressed her absence from social media by writing, “Hi ✋ missed you & hope you’re doing well.” She has not posted since Trigg’s death and has expressed the difficulty of navigating her grief, particularly as she also cares for her newborn son, Theodore.
In a statement from the Chandler Police Department, spokesperson Sonu Wasu confirmed the tragic circumstances surrounding Trigg’s drowning. The investigation into his death was reported to be closed, but Kiser subsequently filed a lawsuit aiming to prevent the public release of sensitive information regarding her son’s death.
The lawsuit, filed on May 27, raised concerns about privacy and sought to protect Kiser’s family from further emotional distress. It stated, “Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son. But every day is a battle.”
Kiser, who first became a mother at 21, expressed her deep love for Trigg in a prior YouTube video. “He is my whole world,” she said. As Kiser continues to cope with her unimaginable loss, her community is rallying around her with support.
