Dave Franco Birthday Celebration Italy

ROME, Italy — Hollywood star Dave Franco celebrated his 40th birthday surrounded by family in Italy. The actor marked the occasion with his wife, actress Alison Brie, his brother James Franco, and his mother, Betsy Franco, among others.

Franco was seen enjoying quality time with loved ones as he blew out the candles on his birthday cake. Alison Brie shared moments from the celebration on her Instagram stories, posting photos and writing, “Happy birthday, my love.”

Dave Franco looked sharp in a deep navy blue suit paired with a basic white shirt. Alison complemented him in a black off-the-shoulder top with a white pleated skirt. The couple was spotted sharing a kiss, radiating happiness on this special day.

James Franco made a rare appearance at the celebration, returning to the public eye after more than a year away from the limelight. The party coincided with the premiere of Dave and Alison’s new film, “Together,” at the 71st Taormina Film Festival.

“Together” is a supernatural horror film where a couple moves to the countryside to escape city life but encounters a mysterious force that affects their relationship and identities. Along with Alison and Dave, the cast includes Damon Herriman, Mia Morrissey, Jack Kenny, and Karl Richmond.

The movie is set to hit theaters in the USA on July 30, 2025, followed by a release in Australia on July 31 by Kismat Movies. During a recent interview with Collider, Alison discussed the film’s theme of codependency, stating, “It’s easy for us to relate to this main idea that people can lose their identity in a relationship.”

Dave and Alison have been together for over ten years. The couple met through a mutual friend in 2011, began dating, got engaged in 2015, and married in a private ceremony in March 2017. They have collaborated on several projects, including “The Little Hours,” “The Rental,” “The Disaster Artist,” and “Somebody I Used to Know.”
