Roony Bardghji Barcelona Debut

Barcelona, Spain – Roony Bardghji, a 19-year-old winger, could make his first-team debut for FC Barcelona this Sunday against Valencia. The Swedish forward joined the team from FC Copenhagen in the summer for over €2 million and impressed fans during the preseason tour in Asia.

Despite his promising start, Bardghji faced registration issues that kept him out of the first three matches of the La Liga season. These Fair Play restrictions prevented the Catalan club from registering him for league play. Now, however, it appears he may finally receive his chance on the pitch as head coach Hansi Flick considers including him in the lineup.

Bardghji, who will wear the No. 28 jersey this season, last played at Estadi Johan Cruyff during the Gamper Trophy match against Como on August 10, where he made a brief appearance as a substitute. He also showcased his skills during the team’s tour of Japan and South Korea, scoring on July 27 against Vissel Kobe.

After training with the first team post-tour, Bardghji participated in a friendly match with Barça Atletic against Atletic Lleida, scoring a penalty in a 3-2 victory. He also represented the Swedish U-21 national team during recent Euro qualifiers.

Having maintained his fitness during this period, Bardghji is eager to finally debut for Barcelona. It remains to be seen how his introduction will affect the team’s dynamics as they prepare to face Valencia.
