STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE Superstar Bronson Reed joined “Busted Open Radio” with Dave LaGreca and Nic Nemeth this week to discuss his career, his role in The Vision, and the upcoming tag team match at Wrestlepalooza.

Reed shared insights about his recovery from a significant injury, highlighting a reassuring call from WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. He pointed out how he has worked hard to earn his place in the wrestling world, stating, “In my career, I’ve never really been hot shotted into a position, so I’ve always worked my way up the ladder. Now I’m finally in the position I’ve wanted to be in for years. I’m very happy to be here, and I feel like I’m just really starting. There’s still a lot to come.”

During the interview, he recalled advice from fellow wrestler Karl Anderson: “He just said, ‘don’t quit.’ And that stuck with me as the greatest advice in wrestling. If you do, you never know where you’re going to end up.” Earlier this year, Reed faced a major injury, which he confirmed was the worst of his career. He described the intense challenges during recovery, especially the initial phase when he could not put weight on his foot. “I was sitting on a couch… and when that happens, you do question yourself about your future,” he explained.

Determined to return stronger, Reed said, “I made sure that when I come back, I am something a little bit more special than what it was before.” He discussed how Triple H reassured him during recovery, stating, “He said, ‘When you’re good and healthy, you come back, you’ll be in a good spot.’” Reed expressed gratitude for that support, believing he would return to a positive position in WWE.

He revealed the plans for him to join The Vision only days before his return. Reed expressed confidence in his partnership with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, pushing back against online comparisons to lesser roles from the past. “We’re both heavy hitters… I feel like the group really is individuals. The Vision is getting stronger, in my opinion,” he noted.

Lastly, Reed addressed the excitement ahead of Wrestlepalooza, recognizing the event as the first WWE premium live event to air on the ESPN app. “It’s very exciting. When you think of sports, you think of ESPN. Growing up, I was a big basketball fan, and now you’ll get to see Bronson Reed on ESPN. WWE is kicking goals constantly!”
