Prepare for Magic’s Spooky Secret Scare Superdrop on October 13

Renton, WA — Wizards of the Coast (WotC) is set to launch the Secret Lair: Secret Scare Superdrop on October 13, 2025, at 9 a.m. The company invites Magic: The Gathering fans to explore a unique collection featuring new designs and card collaborations.

The Secret Scare Superdrop offers fans a chance to get their hands on limited-edition cards that will be available in both foil and non-foil formats. Each drop will include new-to-Magic cards, starting at prices ranging from $29.99 to $59.99.

In addition to the cards, customers spending $199 or more will receive a rainbow foil Cryptic Command promo card, while orders over $99 will qualify for free shipping. “We are offering our fans something special this Halloween season,” said a WotC spokesperson.

Among the exciting offerings is the card Jaws, Relentless Predator, which is connected to a Universes Within series that will feature a future Magic release. However, this particular card will not be available through WPN stores.
