Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Celebrate Producer’s Hall of Fame Induction

NEW YORK CITY, New York — Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos appeared at the Broadcasting + Cable Hall of Fame 33rd Anniversary Gala on September 30 to celebrate their producer Michael Gelman‘s induction into the prestigious hall.
The couple, both 54, showcased their style in matching black suits. Ripa added flair with a sheer black lace top beneath her jacket, enhancing their coordinated look. She opted for a simple makeup style, allowing her hair to flow in soft waves.
Reflecting on the evening, Ripa shared her emotions regarding the celebration. “I’m not gonna lie, I got very emotional,” she said during the October 1 episode of their show, Live with Kelly and Mark. When Gelman expressed gratitude for their speeches, Ripa responded, “It was a pleasure and a privilege.”
During the gala, the couple fondly recalled their relationship while engaging in a playful discussion about New Jersey’s driving rules. Consuelos shared past anecdotes about moving to Ripa’s home state, jokingly referencing the perplexities of not being able to make left turns.
“Yeah, but it sort of impacts the way you move through the world,” Ripa replied. “I move through the world never going left.”
The couple, married since 1996, also discussed the state law prohibiting self-service gas pumping, a topic they bantered about, further showcasing their chemistry on and off the screen. Ripa and Consuelos have been co-hosting their daytime talk show since 2023, following Ryan Seacrest’s departure.
