NEW YORK, NY — Fans are buzzing over a leaked track from Taylor Swift‘s forthcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which they believe may contain a veiled diss towards Charli XCX. The song, titled “Actually Romantic,” features lyrics that some have speculated target the British artist, known for her candid references to drug use in her music.

The alleged lyrics, “I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave,” have stirred significant conversation on social media as Swifties connect them to Charli, who has openly mentioned cocaine in her own songs, including her hit “365.” Charli, 33, sings in that track, “Should we do a little key? Swift, 35, and Charli have a complex history. Charli opened for Swift during her Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, even performing “Shake It Off” alongside the pop superstar. However, their relationship seems strained since Charli has grown closer to Swift’s ex-boyfriend Matty Healy, the frontman of The 1975, leading to further speculation among fans.
