Putnam County Library Closes for Columbus Day Holiday

Putnam County, NY — All branches of the Putnam County Library will close on Monday, October 13, in observance of Columbus Day.
The library services are set to resume regular hours on Tuesday, October 14. This annual closure allows staff and patrons to observe the holiday.
“We encourage our community to take this time to reflect and celebrate the contributions of Italian-American heritage,” said Library Director John Doe.
The library offers a range of resources and programs available to patrons throughout the year, and its closure on this holiday is a routine practice. Residents can access information about library services online or visit when they reopen on Tuesday.
