Three Injured in OSU Residential Hall Shooting Sunday Morning

STILLWATER, Okla. – Three people were injured in a shooting at Oklahoma State University‘s Carreker East residential hall early Sunday morning, around 3:40 a.m. Police say there is currently no threat to the campus.
OSU Police responded after victims reported the incident at off-campus locations. Initial investigations suggest the shooting may have followed a large private party held off-campus. Some attendees then returned to Carreker East, where the shooting took place.
Among the injured is at least one OSU student. All victims are receiving treatment at hospitals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. However, authorities have not revealed the specific conditions of the victims, nor have they released their names.
OSU Police have advised people not associated with Carreker East to avoid the area while the investigation continues. Police are currently seeking information about the incident and urge anyone with tips to contact them at 405-744-6523 or submit anonymously through the Rave Guardian app.
So far, there have been no details released regarding a suspect or the motive behind the shooting. Authorities plan to provide updates as the investigation unfolds.
