Powerball Jackpot Reaches $400 Million for November 1 Drawing
TRENTON, N.J. — The Powerball jackpot has soared to an estimated $400 million for the drawing on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The cash option for the winner is $189 million, according to lottery officials.
No one matched all the winning numbers in the last drawing on October 29, leading to this sizeable jackpot. The winning numbers for the November 1 drawing were 2, 26, 43, 44, 62, and the Powerball number was 22. The Power Play was marked as 2x.
The jackpot is significantly larger than previous amounts, having rolled over 21 times since last won on September 6, 2025. On that date, two tickets matched all six numbers for the top prize of $1.787 billion.
As a reminder, Powerball drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. ET every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Players must purchase tickets by state deadlines; in New Jersey, the deadline is 9:59 p.m. on drawing nights.
Tickets cost $2 each, with the option to add Power Play for an additional $1, which can increase non-jackpot prizes up to five times their original amounts. The only exception is for the jackpot and Match 5 prizes.
Although the odds of winning the grand prize remain steep at 292.2 million to one, many players still hope to hit it big. Even matching just the Powerball or a combination of five numbers can net significant prizes.
Retailers across 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands sell Powerball tickets. In some states, tickets can also be purchased online, with the Jackpocket app allowing players to manage their lottery purchases digitally.
For those lucky enough to win the jackpot, they can choose between an annuity paid out over 29 years or a one-time lump sum payment. Please remember to play responsibly.
