LOS ANGELES, CA — The film ‘The Smashing Machine’, which premiered in theaters last month, is now available for digital purchase and rental starting November 4, 2025. Directed by Benny Safdie, the film delves into the life of MMA fighter Mark Kerr, exploring his rise to fame and the personal battles he faced along the way.

‘The Smashing Machine’ made its debut at the Venice International Film Festival in August 2025, where it garnered the Silver Lion for Best Direction. Critics have praised the film for its gritty portrayal of combat sports and the human experience behind it.

Available on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, viewers can buy the film for $24.99 or rent it for $19.99. Rentals allow viewers to enjoy the film for a 30-day period before expiring 48 hours after the first play.

‘The Smashing Machine’ runs for two hours and three minutes and features a cast that includes former UFC fighter Ryan Bader and Oleksandr Usyk, among others. It is the cinematic adaptation of the 2002 documentary ‘The Smashing Machine: The Life and Times of Extreme Fighter Mark Kerr’, offering an inside look at the wrestling world and Kerr’s struggles with addiction and fame.

This emotional sports drama aims to resonate with both fight fans and those who appreciate deep character studies.
