ATP Finals 2025 Draw Unveiled; Sinner and Alcaraz Lead Groups
Turin, Italy – The Nitto ATP Finals draw was revealed on Thursday, setting the stage for an exciting championship that begins on Sunday, November 9, at the Inalpi Arena. Defending champion Jannik Sinner heads the Björn Borg Group, which also includes Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti, who may secure his place by winning the Athens title this week.
Sinner, who won the tournament last year without losing a match, returns as a strong contender after also reaching the finals in 2023. He aims to replicate his previous success in front of a supportive home crowd.
Meanwhile, top seed Carlos Alcaraz leads the Jimmy Connors Group alongside tennis stars Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and Alex de Minaur. Alcaraz is looking to secure his first ATP Finals title after reaching the semi-finals last year.
Among the singles competitors, three have previously lifted the trophy: Djokovic, a seven-time champion; Zverev, who won in both 2018 and 2021; and Sinner. Alcaraz, competing in his third consecutive Finals, has demonstrated notable performance in recent tournaments.
The tournament will feature two groups for singles and doubles. In the doubles category, top seeds Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool will compete in the Peter Fleming Group, while second seeds Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten lead the John McEnroe Group. Krawietz and Puetz return as defending champions.
The action at the Inalpi Arena will run from November 9 to November 16, promising thrilling matches as fans anticipate the crowning of this year’s champions on both the singles and doubles side.
