Savannah Chrisley Opens Up About Weight Loss Journey on Podcast
Nashville, Tennessee — Savannah Chrisley is sharing her thoughts on weight loss during a recent episode of her podcast. On November 4, the 28-year-old reality star sat down with her mother, Julie Chrisley, to discuss her weight and her plans to lose approximately 25 pounds.
“My weight has always fluctuated. Right now, I am almost 160 pounds, probably more than that,” Savannah said. She added that her ideal weight is around 135 pounds.
While Savannah has previously used weight-loss medication, she took a break because she enjoys food. “When I’m on the shot and I can’t eat, I’m like, ‘ugh, I really love food,’” she explained.
To monitor her health, Savannah recently underwent a complete blood panel. “I want to start back my shot,” she stated, referring to her previous use of tirzepatide, a drug she prefers due to fewer side effects compared to others.
“It’s important to feel good in your body. I want to be skinny,” Savannah shared, while joking about not wanting to lose “too much weight, ’cause I don’t wanna lose my a–.”
In addition to medication, Savannah and Julie plan to exercise together. They spoke to Fox News about their experiences, including the time Julie spent in prison after being sentenced for bank fraud and tax evasion. After 28 months apart, the couple received a pardon from Donald Trump in May.
Reflecting on her time in prison, Julie expressed gratitude for being able to see and communicate with her children, although she and Todd had limited contact. “We had an email that’s very antiquated,” she said. “It was almost impossible to even keep a conversation going.”
